Keep Fighting for Your Rights With Appeals
Sometimes, judges and juries make mistakes. Sometimes, a verdict or other decision doesn't go the way you expected it to go. If this happens, you may be able to appeal the verdict or other decision. Attorney Barr is licensed to take appeals to any appellate court in Pennsylvania and is even a member of the U.S. Supreme Court bar.

Summary Trials and Summary Appeals
If you are charged with a summary offense, like a speeding ticket or summary harassment, you do NOT have to simply roll over and plead guilty. You are entitled to challenge the summary offense in a proceeding known as a "summary trial." It's like a mini-trial before the magistrate judge.
If the magistrate judge finds you guilty or if you have already pleaded guilty, then you are entitled to file a summary appeal within 30 days.
Attorney Barr treats summary trials and summary appeals the same way he treats bigger offenses — aggressively and with the skill and attention you deserve. Contact the Law Office of James W. Barr today.
